Main Housing, Replace (AF17)

Note:   See current valid EPC for parts required for repair.

  Remove

3.   Remove fluid pump (4) 4.   Remove differential (1) 5.   Remove parking lock (3) 6.   Remove intermediate gear (driven) (2) 7.   Remove fluid strainer (5) 8.   Remove axial needle bearing (6) 9.   Remove pipeline (8) Note:   If difficult to move, drive pipeline out carefully with KM-J-7004 and KM-586 Do not damage pipeline. •   Remove fastening clamp (7) – Unscrew bolt

10.	Remove assembly, drive shaft with multi-plate clutch C2

13.	Remove multi-plate clutch assembly C1

14.	Remove multi-plate clutch assembly C0 and C3

15.	Remove rear ring gear assembly with freewheel F0

17.	Remove multi-disc brake assembly B2

18.	Remove intermediate gear (driving)

19.	Remove brake band piston B1

20.   Remove transmission input speed sensor (1) •   Unscrew bolt 21.   Remove transmission output speed sensor (2) •   Unscrew bolt 22.   Remove 8x plug 23.   Remove transmission wiring harness (3)

  Install

24.   Install wiring harness for transmission 7 Nm 25.   Install 8x plug 8 Nm Note:   Use new seal rings. 26.   Install transmission output speed sensor (2) Note:   Use new seal rings. •   Tighten bolt 5 Nm 27.   Install transmission input speed sensor (1) Note:   Use new seal rings. •   Tighten bolt 5 Nm

28.	Install brake band piston B1

32.	Install intermediate gear (driving)

33.	Install multi-disc brake assembly B2

35.	Install rear ring gear assembly with freewheel F0

36.	Install multi-plate clutch assembly C0 and C3

37.	Install multi-plate clutch assembly C1

40.	Install assembly, drive shaft with multi-plate clutch C2

42.	Install intermediate gear (driven)
