Replace planetary gear P2 (AF22)
Remove
Important: Secure converter so it
does not fall out

Remove transmission
|
2. |
Attach transmission to KM-694-A
(2)

Attach assembly to KM-113-2 (1)
|
|
3. |
Remove oil drain bolt (3)
• |
Drain transmission fluid and collect for damage diagnosis
|
|
4. |
Remove converter and fluid pump seal ring
|
|
|
|
5. |
Remove fluid pump assembly (1) with multi-disc brakes B1 and B2
|
6. |
Remove freewheel F1 (2)
|
7. |
Remove differential gear (3)
|
8. |
Remove parking lock (4)
|
|
10. |
Remove thrust bearing (1) with ball race

Remove fluid retaining plate (2)
|
|
11. |
Pull planetary gear set P2 (3) from transmission
• |
Remove thrust bearing and friction washer
|
|
|
|
12. |
Check the teeth and bearing of the planetary gear set P2 (1)
for damage and wear
Note: If necessary,
replace the assembly. Overhauling the planetary gear set is not
necessary.

Install
13. |
Apply adhesive to thrust bearing and ball race between ring
gear and clutch body with grease in ring gear
|
14. |
Insert planetary gear set P2 in transmission by means of gentle
rotating movements (arrows)
Note: Check correct
rotatability of intermediate drive gear (driven). The two teeth are
flush when fitted correctly.

15. |
Place ball race and thrust bearing on planetary gear set P2
|
16. |
Attach fluid retaining plate to primary housing
• |
Tighten fluid carrier plate 7 Nm
|
|
|
17. |
Install valve body (1)
|
18. |
Install parking lock (3)
|
19. |
Install differential gear (2)
|
20. |
Install freewheel F1 (4)
|
21. |
Install fluid pump assembly (5) with multi-disc brakes B1 and
B2
|
|
Important: Secure converter so it
does not fall out
|
22. |
Install fluid pump seal ring and converter
|
23. |
Attach oil drain bolt (3) to transmission with new seal
ring
• |
Tighten oil drain bolt 40 Nm
|
|
24. |
Detach transmission assembly with KM-694-A from KM-113-2
|
25. |
Detach transmission from KM-694-A
(2)
|
27. |
Top up with transmission fluid
|
28. |
Check and correct transmission fluid level
|
