Front Valve Body, Dismantle and Assemble (AF17)

Note:   The valve body is only dismantled for cleaning purposes.

Individual parts for the valve body are not available from suppliers; the complete valve body must be replace in the event of loss or damage.

Overview of Valve Body

  Remove

3.   Remove modulator valve B1 Note:   Modulator valve plug is under spring tension. •   Detach wedge (3) carefully •   Detach plug (4) •   Remove modulator piston (1) with spring (2) 4.   Remove valve, neutral control Note:   Neutral control valve plug is under spring tension •   Detach keeper (5) •   Detach plug (6) •   Remove piston (8) with spring (7)

  Install

6.   Install neutral control valve •   Insert piston (8) with spring (7) •   Insert plug (6) •   Attach keeper (5) 7.   Install modulator valve B1 •   Insert modulator piston (1) with spring (2) •   Insert plug (4) •   Attach keeper (3)
