Important: Replace
or repair wiring harnesses observing the safety regulations of
electrics/electronics.
Remove

Remove radio
• |
Introduce removal bar KM-6067 into
openings (arrows) until it engages
– |
Press both removal bars outwards and at the same time withdraw
the radio from the holder.

Disconnect wiring harness plug
• |
Disconnect 2x wiring harness plug (1) and (2)
|
|
|
|
4. |
Remove glove compartment
• |
Open glove compartment cover
|
• |
Disconnect wiring harness plug
|
• |
Remove glove compartment
|
|
|
|
5. |
Remove rear side panel inner panelling
|
6. |
Remove front side panel inner panelling
|
7. |
Remove sill inner panelling - right side
|
8. |
Disconnect roof aerial wiring harness plug
|
Install
|
9. |
Route aerial cable
Note: The aerial cable
to be replaced remains in the vehicle.

Route new aerial cable and fasten with insulating tape
– |
To D-pillar wiring harness
|
– |
To wiring harness behind rear side panel inner panelling
|
– |
To wiring harness behind front side panel inner panelling
|
– |
To wiring harness under sill moulding, right side
|
– |
To wiring harness behind glove compartment
|
– |
To wiring harness behind radio installation frame
|
|
|
|
10. |
Connect wiring harness plug of roof aerial
|
11. |
Install sill inner panelling - right side
|
12. |
Install front side panel inner panelling
|
13. |
Install rear side panel inner panelling
|
14. |
Insert glove compartment
• |
Connect wiring harness plug
|
|
15. |
Fasten glove compartment
|
16. |
Install radio
• |
Connect wiring harness plug
|
• |
Radio must audibly engage.
|

Program volatile memories
|
|
