Bracket and/or Digital Audio Broadcast (DAB) Receiver, Replace

When replacing the control unit, before removing the control unit carry out a "Reset" with TECH 2. LUREF_1.gif

  Remove

1.   Disconnect battery.
2.   Remove glove compartment
•   Open glove compartment cover
•   Unscrew 4x bolt (1)
•   Disconnect wiring harness plug
•   Remove glove compartment

3.   Remove DAB receiver
•   Disconnect 2x wiring harness plug (1)
•   Unhook 2x retaining lug (2)
•   Remove receiver to vehicle centre
Object Number: 8231317 Size: DEFAULT


4.   Remove DAB receiver bracket
•   Unclip bracket from crossmember (1) and remove
Object Number: 8231318 Size: DEFAULT


  Install

5.   Install DAB receiver bracket
•   Clip bracket into crossmember
6.   Install DAB receiver
•   Clip receiver into bracket
•   Connect 2x wiring harness plug
7.   Insert glove compartment
•   Connect wiring harness plug
8.   Fasten glove compartment
•   Tighten 4x screw
9.   Connect battery.
10.   Program volatile memories
When replacing the control unit, program control unit with TECH 2.
