Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to

Fuel Filter Assembly Retainer
Caution: Refer to
Fastener Caution .
Procedure

1. |
Connect a rubber hose to the retainer pipe to
minimize the fuel spill. |
|
2. |
Release the fuel filter draining plug with a
suitable screwdriver. |
|
3. |
Drain the fuel filter assembly. |
|

Fuel Filter Assembly Cap
|
1. |
Release the fuel filter assembly cap using a
spanner. |
|
2. |
Remove the fuel filter assembly cap. |
Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)

|
Caution: Do
not use a screwdriver or punch to remove the seal. Using a
screwdriver or punch to remove the seal may damage the aluminum
housing sealing surface. |
Procedure
Install a NEW fuel filter assembly cap gasket.
