Glow Plug Wire Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
3. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .

4. Disconnect the 4 glow plug wiring harness plugs, using suitable pliers.
5. Disconnect the glow plug wire wiring harness plug.
6. Remove the 2 glow plug wiring harness bracket bolts (2).
7. Remove the glow plug wiring harness bracket (1) along with the glow plug wire.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the glow plug wiring harness bracket (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution .
2. Install the 2 glow plug wiring harness bracket bolts (2) and tighten to 9 N·m (80 lb in) .
3. Connect the glow plug wire wiring harness plug.
4. Connect the 4 glow plug wiring harness plugs, using suitable pliers.
5. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
6. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
7. Close the hood.
