Throttle Body Assembly Replacement (1.6L LLU)Removal Procedure

| 1. | Remove the charge air cooler outlet air hose. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement . |
| 2. | Disconnect the throttle body wiring harness. |
| 3. | Remove the 4 throttle body bolts (1). |
| 4. | Remove the throttle body (2). |
| 5. | Remove the throttle body seal. |
Installation Procedure
| 1. | Clean sealing surface. |
| 2. | Install a NEW throttle body seal. |
| 3. | Install the throttle body (2). |
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution . |
| 4. | Install the 4 engine coolant thermostat housing bolts (1) and tighten to 8 N·m (71 lb in). . |
| 5. | Connect the throttle body wiring harness. |
| 6. | Install the charge air cooler outlet air hose. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement . |
| 7. | After the replacement of the throttle body, use a scan tool to perform the appropriate reset function. Refer to Engine Control Module Programming and Setup . |
