Diesel Fuel Separator Replacement

EN-6015 Closure Plug

Removal Procedure

Place a collecting basin
underneath. |
4. |
Loosen the fuel injection fuel
return pipe (1) from the diesel fuel separator (7). |
5. |
Unclip the fuel return pipe
clip (4). |
6. |
Disconnect the fuel return
pipe (2) from the diesel fuel separator (7) and hang aside.

Close the fuel return pipe
(2), use EN-6015 plug . |
9. |
Loosen the fuel feed hose (6)
and hang aside. |
10. |
Close the fuel feed hose (6),
use EN-6015 plug . |
11. |
Remove the 2 diesel fuel
separator bolts (2). |
12. |
Remove the diesel fuel
separator (1) in top direction. |
Installation Procedure
1. |
Install the diesel fuel
separator (1) from the top direction between the intake manifold
and the exhaust pressure sensor bracket. |
2. |
Install the 2 diesel fuel
separator bolts (2) and tighten to 9 N·m (80 lb
in) . |
3. |
Install the fuel injection
fuel return hose (1) to the diesel fuel separator (7). |
4. |
Remove the EN-6015
plug from the fuel feed hose (6) and install the fuel feed
hose (6) in compound with a NEW clamp (5) to the diesel fuel
separator (7). |
5. |
Close the fuel feed hose clamp
(5), use a suitable tool. |
6. |
Remove the EN-6015
plug from the fuel return pipe (2) and install the fuel
return pipe (2) to the diesel fuel separator (7) until it audibly
engages. |
7. |
Clip in the fuel return pipe
clip (4). |
