Exhaust Pressure Sensor Pipe Replacement (1.7L Diesel LPL, LPV, LUD, LUE, LKR)

Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
3. Open the front compartment insulator service opening.

4. Remove the exhaust pressure sensor pipe clamp (2).
5. Detach the exhaust pressure sensor pipe (3) from the exhaust pressure sensor (1).
6. Remove the exhaust pressure sensor pipe (2) from the exhaust front pipe (4).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the exhaust pressure sensor pipe (3) to the exhaust front pipe (4) and tighten to 45 N·m (33 lb ft) .
2. Attach the exhaust pressure sensor pipe (3) to the exhaust pressure sensor (1).
3. Reposition the exhaust pressure sensor pipe clamp (2).
4. Close the front compartment insulator service opening.
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Close the hood.
