Oil Filter Adapter Assemble

Caution: Lubrication must be applied to the threads of the oil
filter cap prior to installation. Failure to lubricate the oil
filter cap threads can hinder later removal and cause possible oil
filter cap damage. |

Install the NEW seal ring (1)
with clean engine oil to the oil filter cap (2). |
| 2. |
Install the oil filter adapter
to oil cooler gasket (11). |
| 3. |
Install the oil filter adapter
valve (10). |
| 4. |
Install the oil filter adapter
oil pressure valve (9). |
| 5. |
Oil filter adapter (8).

Install the oil filter adapter
stud bolt (7). |
| 7. |
Install the oil filter adapter
oil drain stud (6). |
| 8. |
Install the NEW oil filter
(5). |
| 9. |
Install the oil filter cap (4)
and tighten to 25 N·m (18 lb ft) .

Install the oil cooler plate

Install the oil cooler

Install the 3 oil cooler bolts
