Oil Filter Adapter Installation — LBQ, LBR, LBS, LBX, and LBY

1. Install a new oil filter adapter gasket.
2. Install the oil filter adapter (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

3. Install the 3 oil filter adapter bolts (2) and tighten to 50 N·m (37 lb ft) .





4. Install the engine oil cooler coolant inlet hose (2).
5. Install the engine oil cooler coolant inlet hose clamps (1).





6. Install the engine oil cooler coolant outlet hose (3).
7. Install the engine oil cooler coolant outlet hose clamps (1, 2) and the snap lock (4).
