Front Axle Shaft Seal Replacement - Left Side

Component Name

Caution: Always use the proper automatic transmission fluid listed. Using incorrect automatic transmission fluid may damage the vehicle.

Remove battery tray. Refer to . Battery Tray Replacement

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to . Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

Remove front compartment insulator. Refer to . Front Compartment Insulator Replacement

Drain transmission fluid.

Remove the left front wheel drive shaft from transmission. Refer to . Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Left Side

Clean the seal bore in the transmission housing.

Inspect the transmission fluid level. Refer to . Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check

•	DT-557-B Puller Driveshaft Seal
