Trim off remaining cement bead down to a thickness of 1 mm/0.04 in.

Remaining bead serves as a base for new cement.

Keep cement bead free of dirt.

Use MKM-590-A with Scraper MKM-590-5.

Do not overheat cement bead.

Note:

The new cement bonds with the cut cement without any loss of quality.

Where cement remains are burned no new cement should be applied. (Loss of adhesion occurs.)
