Upholstery - Rear Seat Backrest, Replace

Models 33, 34, 39, 43, 44, 49

Remove

This operation describes replacement for single-part and two-part backrests.

Remove rear seat backrest.

Remove upholstery.

1     Retaining strip (upholstery), only outer backrest surfaces

2     Wire

3     Ring clamp

4     Reinforcement strip

5     Clamp (as of Model Year 1985)

Install

Install in reverse order.

Fasten ring clamps with commercially available round nose pliers.

Illus. C 1977 shows models 39, 49.

Remove

Remove rear seat backrest.

Remove upholstery.

Disconnect upholstery and reinforcement strip from panel.

Install
