Rubber Buffer of Shock Absorber, Replace

All Vehicles except Models 35, 36, 38, 45, 46 and 48

Unbolt shock absorber mounting in luggage compartment.

Raise vehicle slightly.

Important:

Do not raise vehicle too far, so that rear springs remain in seats on vehicle underbody.

Pull shock absorber downwards and remove rubber buffer.

Place new rubber buffer on shock absorber.

Lower vehicle.

Place rubber buffer and washer on shock absorber.

Tighten hex nut to relevant adjustment dimension.

On Models 35, 36, 45 and 46, this operation corresponds to the operation "Shock Absorber, Remove and Install", only the unbolting of the shock absorber from the vehicle underbody is not required.

This operation is not required on Models 38 and 48.
