BRAKE
DRUM, BRAKE ANCHOR PLATE
Brake
Drum, Remove and Install or Replace
Raise
vehicle.
Remove
rear wheel.
Vehicles
with Catalytic Converter:
Unscrew retaining bolts for heat shield and push
heat shield to one side.
Loosen
parking brake cable at compensation yoke.
Unscrew
detent screw for brake drum.
Remove
brake drum.
If
brake drum is run in, remove plug from brake anchor plate and turn back
parking brake shoe lever using screwdriver until cam rests on brake shoe.
