2 E 3 Carburettor

Idle Speed and CO Content in Exhaust Gas, Adjust

          Conditions:

          -     Engine functions without problems

          -     Oil temperature approx. 80 °C/176 °F

          -     No problems with ignition system

          -     No leaks in intake system

          -     Clean air filter fitted

          -     No problems with intake air heating

          -     No problems with accelerator operation

          -     Electric consumers switched off

-      Tachometer and CO tester connected

Adjusting screw (3) must not be touching the cam plate (4), see illustration

-      On vehicles with AT, selector lever at "P"

-      Adjust idle speed on throttle valve stop screw (1)

-      Correct exhaust value on mixture control screw (2) if required

For adjusting values see table "Idle Speed, CO Exhaust Gas Content and Ignition Adjustment".
