Throttle
Valve Basic Adjustment, Check and Adjust
Carburettor
Installed
Turn
choke valve lever to idle position.
Idle
speed adjustment screw must not rest on cam plate.
Connect
vacuum gauge to carburettor (vacuum connection for distributor).
Start
engine.

Completely turn in auxiliary
mixture adjusting screw.
Set mixture adjusting screw at
CO value of 1 - 2 % volume.
Check basic idle speed and
ignition vacuum. If necessary, make correction to throttle valve stop screw.
