Swirl Chamber Projection, Check
Remove
cylinder head.
See
corresponding operation in this group.
Clean
sealing surface. Position magnetic holder with Dial Gauge.
Set
Dial Gauge at X0X. Turn magnetic holder until probe tip rests on outer edge
of swirl chamber.
Read
measured value.
Take
measurement at four points equidistant from each other.

Technical Data for tolerance range.
If
measured value is not within tolerance range, seat of cylinder head is to be
re-cut.
Superficial
cracks in end duct have no influence on its function.
Slightly
loose chambers can be installed without any problem.
