Engine Oil Temperature, Measure

Measure
the engine oil temperature in the oil sump 1 cm/0.39" above the bottom
with KM- 596.
Guide
sensor Into dipstick tube until it touches bottom and then pull back 1
cm/0.39".
To
avoid taking in outside air (crankcase vent) through the guide tube, seal off
opening with rubber plug.
Note:
The
oil temperature will depend on the respective engine load. Under extreme load
conditions the oil temperature can rise to approx. 130 °C/266 °F.
