Exhaust Manifold Gasket, Replace
Unscrew
ground strap from battery.
Remove
front exhaust pipe from manifold and intermediate flange.
Remove
support between Intake and exhaust manifolds and remove Intake manifold.
Unbolt
exhaust manifold. Clean sealing surface and mount new gasket. Install exhaust
manifold.
In
order to prevent distortion, first tighten nuts only slightly and then
tighten down from inside to outside.
Install
Intake manifold and front exhaust pipe.
Use
new gasket.
