Seal Ring between Thermostat Housing and Cylinder Head, Replace

Detach hose connection at thermostat housing.

Place drain tray underneath, open lid of compensation tank and drain coolant.

Disconnect wiring plug from temperature sensor and terminal plug from thermostat housing (arrows).

Loosen retaining bolts and remove thermostat housing.

Clean sealing surfaces.

Insert new seal ring into thermostat housing.

Install in reverse order.

Fill up and bleed cooling system.
