Coolant
Temperature Sensor, Replace
Disconnect
wiring harness plug.
Temperature
sensor is partially immersed in coolant. Therefore, partially drain and catch
coolant.
Unscrew
temperature sensor.
When
screwing in, observe prescribed torque.
Check
temperature sensor by measuring between two terminals using ohmmeter.
Measurement
values:
at
0 °C = 4.8 to 6.6 kW
at
20 °C = 2.2 to 2.8 kW
at
40 °C = 1.0 to 1.4 kW
at
80 °C = 0.27 to 0.38 kW
