Trouble-shooting: Nominal Value: Cause of Fault: (If nominal value is not attained)
· Engine off, ignition ON
· Remove air flow meter < - 35 °C/- 31 °F > 4.9 V · Short circuit of signal lead Ter. 5 plug or Ter. 1 (with AFM without CO pot.) to ground lead Ter. 4 · Ignition ON · Control unit defective
· Bridge Ter. 4 (-) with Ter. 5 or Ter. 1 > 180 °C/230 °F < 0.1 V · Lead interruption from (with AFM without CO pot.) at air - Control unit Ter. 44 to AFM Ter. 5 or Ter. 1 flow meter plug with adapter - Control unit Ter. 26 to AFM Ter. 4 cables from KM-609 · Poor plug connection (loose contact caused by pushed-back pin on AFM) · Control unit defective
If nominal values are attained · Temperature sensor (AFM) defective
