Electronic Kit I, KM-609

 

A measurement connection to link up the information sensors fitted in the vehicle can be made using the relevant plugs and sockets together with the cables of Electronic Kit I.

The MOTRONIC information sensors can then be checked with the engine running.

Pressure Gauge KM-7-34730-1

 

The pressure gauge is for checking the fuel pressure in the injection system. It is connected by a special threaded connection to a valve on the intake manifold.

 

Note:

Before connecting or removing, all pressure is to be released from the system.

 

After connection, the hose line between the intake manifold and the pressure gauge must be bled to avoid incorrect measurements.

A bleeding hose with hand valve is part of the pressure gauge.

Multimeter MKM-587-A

 

The Multimeter is a multi-purpose instrument for measuring voltage, current and resistance. The values measured are displayed digitally.

 

The Opel Tester can also be used instead of the Multimeter.

 

 

Checking Spark Plug

 

The checking spark plug is required for checking the ignition system.

For this purpose it is connected to cable 4.

 

 

Checking Lamp KM-602-1

 

The checking lamp is needed to check the injection system.

For this purpose it is connected to the plugs of the individual injection valves.
