Note:

Before trouble-shooting is started, ensure that the vehicle cables are correctly coded for the relevant vehicle type (manual or automatic transmission).

On manual transmission vehicles, check that control unit Ter. 42 is grounded.

Ignition ON

· Check voltage at

P/N switch plug Ter. E

and Ter. G with multimeter                               > 10 V

If nominal values are attained          · P/N switch defective

· Control unit defective
