The fault is recognised by the control unit, if

· Over a period t > 2.55 s

· The oxygen sensor voltage is 0.59 > U_S > 0.38 V.

The fault is stored and the replacement value called up only if the

following conditions are satisfied consecutively:

1.)Coolant temperature T > 70 °C/158 °F (condition 1)

2.)Fault for t > 3 mins known, after condition 1 satisfied (condition 2)

3.)Load signal t_L > 3.5 ms (condition 3)

4.)Conditions 1 to 3 satisfied simultaneously for t > 5.2 s

5.)No storage of trouble codes 73 or 74

If trouble code 13 is stored, the control unit takes 450 mV as a

replacement voltage
