Trouble-shooting: Nominal Value: Cause of Fault: (If nominal value is not attained)
Ignition ON
· Measure voltage at 11.5 to 13.5 V · Lead interruptions from control unit Ter. 37 - Control unit Ter. 37 or from fuel pump relay Ter. 87 - Injection valve plug Ter. 1 to injection valve
· Remove wiring harness strip from Ckecking lamp flashes · Interruption or short circuit to ground in all 4 injection valves on on all cables cable from all injection plug cables when engine is started - Injection valve cyl. 1 to control unit Ter. 17 - Injection valve cyl. 2 to control unit Ter. 34 Connect Checking Lamp KM 602-1 to all - Injection valve cyl. 3 to control unit Ter. 16 injection plug cables one after - Injection valve cyl. 4 to control unit Ter. 35 the other and start engine · Control unit defective
If nominal values are attained ----->· Injection valve defective Injection valve resistance value at room temperature : approx. 16 Ohm
