· Disconnect control unit from wiring harness    0 - 0.2 W                                                · Lead interruption in cable from tank vent valve to control unit Ter. 5

Check from tank vent valve

to control unit Ter. 5                                                                                                            · Short circuit to ground in cable from tank vent

using multimeter for continuity and                                                                                      valve to control unit Ter. 5

short circuit to ground

If nominal values are attained--->    · Tank vent valve defective

· Control unit defective
