Knock
Sensor, Replace
Disconnect
battery.
Raise
vehicle.
Disconnect
multiplug from knock sensor (arrow). Unscrew knock sensor.
Install
in reverse order.
Attention!
It
is vital to ensure the firm seating of the knock sensor to avoid engine
damage due to knock combustion.
For
this reason, clean the contact faces of knock sensor and engine block
thoroughly.
Note:
Knock
sensor multiplug is coloured red.
