Throttle Valve Body, Replace

Remove pre-volume chamber.

See corresponding operation.

Remove fuel line clamp (1) from throttle valve body. Disconnect multiplug (2) from throttle valve switch. Open throttle valve fully by hand (arrow) and detach bowden cable for throttle valve actuation.

Remove crankcase vent hose (3) from throttle valve body.

Remove vacuum hose from fuel pressure regulator.

Unscrew retaining nuts (arrows) and remove throttle valve body from stay bolts.

Remove throttle valve switch.

To do this, unscrew both retaining bolts and remove throttle valve switch from throttle valve shaft.

Note:

The throttle valve linkage is adjusted using special gauges at the factory.

Correct adjustment using workshop instruments is not possible.

In case of faulty throttle valve linkage, the complete throttle valve body with linkage must be replaced.

Install in reverse order.
