Measure battery voltage with Multimeter MKM-587-A
· Engine off > 11.5 V · Battery discharged Corroded contacts
· Start engine > 8.0 V · Check alternator or regulator
· Engine idling > 13.0 V · Check alternator or regulator
· Voltage according to TECH 1 13.0 to 16.9 V · If alternator and regulator OK, control unit defective
