Trouble-shooting:                                      Nominal Value:                     Cause of Trouble:

Ignition OFF

· Remove oil temperature sensor plug P 24           0 °C/32 °F=3150 W                           · Oil temperature sensor defective

and check resistance at oil temperature               10 °C/50 °F=2200 W

sensor P 24 with Multimeter                                    20 °C/68 °F=1210 W

MKM-587-A.                                                              30 °C/86 °F= 832 W

40 °C/104 °F= 585 W

50 °C/122 °F= 419 W

60 °C/140 °F= 307 W

70 °C/158 °F= 228 W

80 °C/176 °F= 169 W

90 °C/194 °F= 127 W

100 °C/212 °F= 98 W

Alternative measurement:

· Make connection between oil                                0 °C/32 °F= 4.57 V                           · Oil temperature sensor defective

temperature sensor plug and                                  10 °C/50 °F= 4.41 V

the sensor itself with adapter                                  20 °C/68 °F= 3.95 V

leads from Electronic Kit KM-609                          30 °C/86 °F= 3.59 V

and connect Multimeter MKM-587-A.                   40 °C/104 °F= 3.20 V

50 °C/122 °F= 2.77 V

Ignition ON                                                                   60 °C/140 °F= 2.38 V

70 °C/158 °F= 2.01 V

The voltage value of TECH 1 is                            80 °C/176 °F= 1.66 V

to be compared with the measurement                 90 °C/194 °F= 1.37 V

value of the Multimeter at the                                 100 °C/212 °F= 1.11 V

respective temperature

Ignition OFF

Remove adapter leads and Multimeter MKM-587-A
