Exploded View of Distributor

Unbolt distributor cap (socket wrench 5.5 mm/0.22 in.)

Unscrew distributor rotor from distributor shaft.

Pull two pin plug from module.

Unbolt vacuum advance unit.

Two hex bolts.

Unbolt module.

Pull plug from module. Unscrew two hex bolts and remove module from housing.

Clean and check parts. Replace defective parts.

Assemble distributor.

Apply silicon grease provided in kit for better heat conduction between module and housing.

Install distributor.

Check ignition timing, as well as centrifugal and vacuum advance.
