ohmmeter (high measuring range) to check ignition coil for ground contact as
shown in illus. B 6221 "1".
Ohmmeter
should give an infinite reading.
Check
primary winding of ignition coil for current flow using an ohmmeter (illus. B
6221 "2").
Nominal
value approx. 0.4 ohm.
Check
secondary winding of ignition coil for current flow using ohmmeter (illus. B
6221 "3").
Nominal
value approx. 7 kiloohm.
Replace
ignition coil if there are any deviations from nominal value.
