Starter ring gear                                   Heat ring gear to 180 to 230°C before installing

Lateral runout                                      Permissible lateral runout of installed starter ring gear to flywheel

Precision turning

Permissible removal of material in area of clutch lining surface:

                                               0.3 mm

Tor restore the release relationship after removal of the material, the raised face of the flywheel (surface for clutch assembly) must be reduced by the same amount.

Dimension A must always be:

2.0 - 2.2 mm        |           2.1 - 2.2 mm
