Gasket between Intake Manifold and Cylinder Head, Replace

Remove air cleaner. Release alternator at tensioning bar, remove V-belt and swing alternator to one side. Unscrew water pipe from intake manifold and clutch housing.

Remove all cables and hoses. Unbolt intake manifold from cylinder head.

Clean sealing surfaces of intake manifold and cylinder head.

Position new gasket.

Fasten intake manifold to cylinder head.

Fasten water pipe to intake manifold and clutch housing.

Fasten alternator to tensioning bar. Mount and tension V-belt.

Connect all hoses and cables.

Mount air cleaner.

Check coolant level and correct if necessary.
