1)      Bolt must be recut and screwed in with Locking Compound 15 03165 (0 093 736) before reusing.

2)     On transverse mounted engines 60 Nm. On longitudinal mounted engines 65 Nm + 30 to 45°.

3)     Tighten bolt (length of thread 15 mm) to 28 Nm. tighten bolt (length of thread 40 mm) to 25 Nm + 30°.

4)     Then tighten a further 45° to 60°.

5)     Then tighten a further 40° to 60°.

6)     Tighten bolt (length of thread 23 mm) to 55 Nm. tighten bolt (length of thread 30 mm) to 55 Nm + 45 to 60°.

7)     Then tighten a further 30° to 45°.

8)     Then tighten a further 25° to 35°.

9)     Bolts are to be inserted with Locking Compound 15 03 165 (0 093 736).

10)    Tighten in four stages - 25 Nm + 60° + 60° + 30°. After test drive tighten a further + 30°.

11)     Tighten in four stages - 25 Nm + 60° + 60° + 60°. After test drive tighten a further + 30°.
