Starter ring gear                                   Heat ring gear to 180 to 230 °C before installing

Lateral run-out                                     Permissible lateral run-out of installed starter ring gears to flywheel:

                                                                                                            0,5 mm

Precision turning

Permissible removal of material in area of clutch disc surface:

                                               0,3 mm

To restore functional relationships after removing material, the raised face of the flywheel (bearing surface for clutch assembly) must be turned down by the same amount.

Dimension A must always be:

5,0 to 5,2mm
