Cylinder Head/Engine Block, Check for Plane Surface

Remove cylinder head.

Use a calibrated ruler and a feeler gauge to check for bending in both longitudinal and transverse directions and diagonally for warping (twisting).

Ensure that cylinder head height, dimension "B", is maintained after grinding.

Check piston projection after grinding operations.
