14 / 20 automatic transmission with 16 SV, 18 SV engines (EI Plus control
unit) or with C 20 NE, 20 NE engines (Motronic ML 4.1; Model Year '89); See
trouble code 21, 22
· At Ter. 25 the control unit recognizes no pulse
width modulated signal or one which is outside of the permitted range;
the Low level (0 V) of the PWM
signal occurs for less than 0.15 ms or for longer than 9.3 ms;
(invalid pulse width or
frequency)
· The above conditions must be fulfilled for at
least 4 s

trouble code 76 was recognized, the following gears are still shifted in the
following driving stages
(emergency
program):
Automatic
Transmission AF 14 / 20:
