Glove Compartment Lamp, Service Install

Remove glove compartment.

Press off retaining straps from instrument panel and centre console.

Unscrew 2 screws from underneath glove compartment.

Remove glove compartment.

Cut out pre-moulded opening for contact switch in instrument panel panelling.

Cut out pre-moulded opening for glove compartment lamp in instrument panel panelling.

Connect plug provided for glove compartment lamp and and contact switch on instrument panel wiring harness to lamp and contact switch.

A    =  Lamp

B    =  Contact switch

Insert contact switch and glove compartment lamp in instrument panel panelling.

Reinstall glove compartment.

Function check:

The glove compartment lamp comes ON when the exterior lamps are on and the glove compartment is opened.
