Instrument Panel Lamp, Replace

Remove

Remove cover cap with horn button from steering wheel.

Turn ignition lock to position "I".

Turn steering wheel 90° to left and then to right so that screws are accessible.

Unscrew 4 screws from upper signal switch panelling.

Remove upper signal switch panelling.

Unscrew 2 screws and remove instrument panel panelling.

Pull multiple plug from switches in vicinity of instrument panel

panelling.

If fitted, remove speaker balance control and switch for

instrument illumination from instrument panel panelling.

Pull off speedometer cable from speedometer at instrument.

To do this, press down retaining spring at cable connection and

simultaneously pull off cable.

Unscrew instrument housing and pull slightly out of instrument panel so that rear of instruments is accessible.

Turn defective instrument panel lamp to left to remove from printed circuit board.

A    =  Instruments, standard

B    =  Instruments with econometer

C    =  Instruments with tachometer

Install

Analogously in reverse order.
