Lock Cylinder - Steering and Ignition Lock, Replace

Remove

Unscrew 4 screws from lower signal switch panelling.

Remove cover cap with horn button from steering wheel.

Turn ignition lock to position "I".

Turn steering wheel 90° to left and then to right so that screws are accessible.

Unscrew 2 screws from upper signal switch panelling.

Remove lower signal switch panelling.

Turn ignition lock to position "II".

Press down detent spring.

Pull lock cylinder out of steering lock.

Important:In order to avoid damage to the steering and ignition lock, do not under any circumstances remove the contact part at the same time.

Install

Analogously in reverse order.

Guide lock cylinder into steering lock and push down until detent spring locks.
