Switch off all electrical consumers

Engine running at idle speed, operating temperature

Selector lever in position "P" or "N" (AT only)

AC OFF (AC only)

Note:

If only one cylinder is affected by the ignition retard, check that the spark plug for the cylinder in question has the prescribed heat rating.

If all cylinders are affected by the ignition retard, check that unleaded fuel with at least 95 RON is used and that all spark plugs have the prescribed heat rating.
