·   Measure voltage:

from:      transmission control unit wiring harness plug Ter. 25

to:          ground, Ter. 31

 

 

 

less than 0.1 V

 

 

·   Short circuit to voltage

from:      transmission control unit wiring harness plug Ter. 25

to:          corresponding terminal of engine control unit

 

·   Connect dwell meter

from:      transmission control unit wiring harness plug Ter. 25

to:          ground, Ter. 31

·   Ignition ON

·   Engine running at idle speed, operating temperature

·   Accelerate briefly:

·   Circuit interruption
