Complaint: Noises or Vibrations Scraping and rattling noises from the area of the transmission in 1st and 2nd gear and at engine speed between 1500 and 2000 rpm.
Cause: Due to incorrect greasing of clutch hub and input shaft grease can be flung off onto the clutch discs.
Special part: No
Production Solution:
Remedy: Replace clutch linning. An additional greasing of clutch hub is not required. The shaft splines should be cleaned, the input shaft lightly greased. The pressure plate should be degreased and mounted correctly.
