SELECT ACTUATOR

Automatic transmission AF 14/20,

Model Year '89:

Ignition ON

Vehicle stationary

Engage parking brake

Selector lever in "N"

Engine running at idle speed

Press key F5 in the system main menu, select the desired test with the arrow keys and confirm with YES. Follow the instructions in the TECH 1 display.

Increase engine speed to 3000 rpm

Note:

After the test is started, a load reduction ignition retard signal is sent every 5 s.

The check is completed after a maximum of 30 s.

Engine speed decreases briefly but noticeably during load reduction ignition retard
