Converter Housing, Dismantle and Assemble  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Retaining plate from roller bearing - 1 bolt (1). Fastening clamp for pipe - 1 bolt (3). Remove pipe (2). If stiff, carefully drive out pipe with KM-J-7004 and KM-586 - ensure that pipe does not get damaged. Fluid carrier plate - 3 bolts (4). If necessary, clean 3 magnets (arrows) from underside of fluid carrier plate.   Roller bearing from housing - KM-J-26941 (7), KM-313 (5), KM-483 (6).   Remove axial needle bearing (8) (converter housing side only).

  Install, Connect   

Insert axial needle bearing (1) (converter housing side only). Insert roller bearing with collar on top and push in with KM-204 (2).     Important!    Roller bearings must always be replaced in pairs. When pressing in bearing, ensure that the housing part lies on a suitable plane surface.     Tighten (Torque)    Retaining plate to housing - 6 Nm / 4 lbf. ft. Insert pipe (4) and fasten with clamp - 1 bolt (6) - 5 Nm / 3.5 lbf. ft. Fluid carrier plate with 3 magnets to housing - 3 bolts (6).
